As the Controller Engineer, you will be responsible for the development of the company’s microgrid software solutions and collaborating to implement these into new and current projects.

Responsibilities:

Develop and integrate the company’s software applications for controlling renewable energy systems.
Solve complex customer issues independently and be a go-to resource for other team members.
Work with remote systems to troubleshoot and integrate the company’s developed tools.
Analyze field issues to provide insights on product quality and process improvement.
Work with firmware/software, hardware, and product teams to define new features and develop the controls strategy and algorithms.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent in experience.
3+ Years working on controls systems or related experience.
Hands-on experience developing control systems for ES, Solar or Microgrids preferred.
Experience with cloud-based server architecture.
Experience with CAN and Modbus TCP/IP
Experience with C# and Python.
Ability to manage multiple projects at once.
