Responsibilities:
Strong knowledge of the solar project development process i.e. Permits, Approvals, State, County, Municipal, BPU submissions, and Community Solar.
Permitting/Approval Process: Research any environmental, state, county, and municipal requirements. Work with civil and structural subcontractors to ensure we obtain all necessary permits and approvals in a timely manner.
Able to Coordinate and liaise with various teams and specialists within the company to maintain accurate and up to date files.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Teams Dropbox, and Box.
Project Coordination/Tracking: Create Action Item list, assign tasks to the Project Team, track task completion, provide information and documentation to team, ensure completion of Project Closeout documentation.
Contract Compliance Review: Review all EPC, PPA, RFP and Proposal documents. Create Project Summary outlining requirements and pull all important information from documents so Field Managers can easily find them.
Participate in project meetings and propose improvements if necessary.
As part of the Business Development team your responsibilities include acting as a liaison between the designers, engineers, and other business development personnel.
You will be responsible for assisting with the preliminary design and permitting of the project and reviewing Contract documents.
Once an opportunity becomes a contracted project, you will remain involved with the project and assist the project managers with general contract documentation requirements, permitting, coordination and contracting of subcontractors, health and safety documentation, and maintenance manuals.
Requirements:
3 years’ experience in the Solar industry.
Documentation management and ability to use project management tools.
