JinkoSolar announces another record for its 182 mm N-type monocrystalline silicon solar cell

China — JinkoSolar announced it has achieved a major technical breakthrough for its 182 mm high-efficiency N-type monocrystalline silicon solar cell.

The company says it set a new world record with the maximum solar conversion efficiency of 25.7% for its large-size monocrystalline silicon TOPCon solar cell.

Adding that the result has been independently confirmed by the National Institute of Metrology, China (“NIM”).

The monocrystalline silicon solar cell was fabricated on a high-quality CZ mono-Si substrate by integrating JinkoSolar’s self-developed HOT technologies.
