ARZON SOLAR | NEWS RELEASE — Arzon Solar, LLC, the world’s premier designer and manufacturer of high performance concentrator photovoltaic (CPV) solar modules and systems, is introducing a new CPV platform called the “Universal Module” (uModule).

Performing with 30% efficiency, the uModule is the highest efficiency and highest power commercially available PV module in the world. The uModule is rated at 2.70 kW DC CSTC (2.30 kW DC CSOC).

The uModule is a fully integrated, easy-to-install, and easy-to-ship CPV module designed for robust and reliable performance. The uModule is available for individual order or can be installed into several uModule-enabled systems also offered by Arzon Solar. Whether the solar need is off grid, commercial, distributed generation, net metering, or utility scale, the uModule will provide the highest performance energy solution in sunny and dry climes.

“Before uModule, CPV products and companies were mainly interested in servicing utility scale customers despite having clear energy density, land sensitivity, and performance advantages in nearly every niche of the solar market. We designed the uModule platform to work seamlessly with different Arzon Solar systems, from 5.5 kW to 33.2 kW, as well as third-party tracking solutions,” said Adam Plesniak, Vice President of Engineering at Arzon Solar. “Our team has leveraged decades of technology and product experience to create a competitive, high performance, flexible, and robust CPV module that generates some serious solar energy.”

“In my 25 years in this business, I consider the uModule for its manufacturing simplicity, application versatility, and powerful performance a major transformation for the industry. This is the tipping point to bring CPV from the upstream to the mainstream,” stated Vahan Garboushian, Chief Executive Officer of Arzon Solar.

Arzon Solar’s uModule systems are available for preorder now and will be manufactured in the US. Arzon Solar expects to begin delivery of uModules in the third quarter of 2015.
