No one had a bigger 2017 than this guy!

With a net worth of over 20.6 billion USD (Forbes 2017), Elon Musk has had one of the best years to date.

All his companies from SpaceX to Tesla delivered big time. Yep, you read that right, he had an awesome 2017.

Let’s look at a few milestones:

The billionaire helped restore power to part of Porto Rico after the Island suffered severe blackouts due to hurricane Maria.

Tesla now boosts to have the fastest street car on the planet. It’s recently revealed second-generation roadster—the fastest production car to date—can hit a quarter mile in just 9 seconds.

Musk’s space agency, SpaceX, is finally landing rockets. The company finally mastered the reusable rocket system and landed a total of 20 Falcon 9 rockets in 2017.

Tesla became the second most valuable U.S. car company in 2017, ahead of Ford, America’s oldest car manufacturer.

Walmart, DHL, and Pepsi among other global brands have ordered Tesla’s Autonomous Electric Semi Trucks.

These trucks are capable of driving for 300 miles on one charge, will cost less to operate, than a diesel truck and could be a game changer for freight delivery.

Elon’s Hyperloop Project got the green light in the U.S. state of Maryland.

This means he now has permission to dig tunnels for his high-speed underground transit system that will ferry passengers from New York to Washington, D.C. in under 30 minutes.
