NRStor has signed contracts for eight behind-the-meter (BTM) energy storage projects totaling 42MWh.
The projects are designed to address adjustment charges that are causing higher electricity fees in Ontario.
According to the press release, IHI Energy Storage, a division of IHI, Inc has agreed to provide the lithium-ion batteries, inverters, and software for the projects.
NRStor’s commercial and industrial (C&I) will build, own, and operate the structure.
