British Columbia — HES PV announced it has changed its name to Charge Solar.

Last year, the company acquired its competitor Sentinel Solar, a move the company says doubled its revenue.

HES PV … ehmmm … Charge Solar will continue to provide the same services as before, but under this new brand.

“We’re excited to launch our new chargesolar[dot]com website … along with the new Charge Solar brand,” said Jeff MacAulay, Charge Solar’s Chief Executive Officer.

With the brand change, Charge Solar intends to focus more on electric vehicle charging and grid-interactive battery storage.
