Electricity Act amended to remove net-metering for some users, and cap on large producers eliminated. Amendments focus on efficiency benefiting businesses developing large-scale projects more than homeowners. Nova Scotia Power customers with existing solar arrays will continue to be able to sell excess power to the grid.
