90 solar panels stolen from solar site in Clark County Indiana

Someone stole around 90 solar panels from a Hoosier Energy facility, the company reported Wednesday. The panels were stolen from the Henryville Solar facility in Clark County, Indiana. The panels were found Wednesday morning, a statement said.

“The panels, which have virtually no re-sale value and are unusable for residential purposes, can easily be traced due to their size and proportions.”

According to energy sage, solar panels used in rooftop solar installations average around 65 inches by 39 inches, or 5.4 feet by 3.25 feet. The energy company will be back at 75% operating capacity by the end of the Wednesday workday.
