PROINSO | News Release — Proinso has recently opened a new branch in Monterrey, Mexico.

PROINSO, which has 30 Qualified Installers in Mexico, will be able to strengthen its presence in this solar PV market where it has already participated in several projects and will have a 1200 sq. meter warehouse.

Hector Andrade – The Commercial Manager of PROINSO México-, with more than 20 years of experience as Sales Director for Schneider Electric, points at the importance of setting foot in Mexico saying, “The PV power industry is likely to have a brilliant future in Mexico, which is expected to have more than 3,3 GW installed by 2018.” Mexico is the country with the largest PV capacity in Central America, photovoltaic solar energy alone could produce more than 22 times the current production of electricity.

It should be noted that vast areas of the country receive more than 2,000 daylight hours a year, and daily solar radiation amounts to 5 to 7 kWh/m2 on average.
