Greengate and Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) have entered into an agreement to fund the development and construction of Canada’s largest solar farm.

The farm is projected to produce 400 megawatts of electricity with the potential of powering 100,000 homes and creating 500 full-time jobs during construction.

As part of the agreement, CIP will provide funding for the development, construction, and operation and Greengate will retain an ongoing economic interest and provide management services throughout the life of the project.
