The largest Tesla Solar Roof Tiles system to date — has been installed on a building in Florida

What could be considered the largest Tesla Solar Roof Tiles system has been installed in Florida.

The massive 44 kW installation consists of 800 individual solar tiles and includes several Tesla PowerWalls (13.5 kWh usable / 7 kW peak / 5kW continuous each) to buffer/backup power.

The system provides enough electricity to offset 80 percent of the energy used on the property — called The ChoZen Retreat.

Tony Cho, the founder of real estate development firm Metro 1, shared a video of the Solar Roof project on his Twitter page:

Tesla CEO Elon Musk commented on the project, saying it is “one of the best Tesla Solar Roof installations.”
