ASHEVILLE, N.C. — Innovative Solar Systems, LLC (ISS) has just announced that the company is wrapping up final approvals on approximately 376 Megawatts of utility scale solar farm projects in various southern states. The shovel ready projects vary in size from 5MW, 20MW, 35MW and 50MW and will afford owners of these projects with long term Purchase Power Agreements (PPA’s) from credit worth utility companies.

ISS CEO and Spokesman John E. Green states that this current portfolio of Shovel Ready projects is just a fraction of the company’s 2016 pipeline of large scale solar projects totally approximately 2GW. Returns on large scale projects have become quite attractive to investors and buyers due to the low overall installed project costs.

Innovative Solar Systems, LLC (ISS) is a developer of large scale solar farm projects in the United States, based in Asheville, NC and has rapidly grown over the last five years. ISS primarily develops 20MW to 80MW solar farm projects, and currently it has three (3) of the largest projects ever to be built in the State of North Carolina: one (1) 75MW project and two (2) 80 MW projects. Overall, ISS has developed and sold over 800MW of projects.

The company has also branched out from North Carolina and is developing new large scale projects in various southern, eastern and mid-western states. ISS has become a leader in the development and implementation of utility scale solar farm projects here in the U.S.
