Ontario — Shareholders of OZZ Group, a North American-based electrical contracting firm, have unveiled their new renewable energy division, “Enlightened Clean Energy”.

This newly created arm will specialize in design-build projects and the ownership of renewable energy infrastructure assets, focusing on solar photovoltaic (PV), battery energy storage systems (BESS), and electric vehicle charging (EV) facilities.

Formerly operating under the names OZZ Solar Canada and OZZ Solar USA, Enlightened Clean Energy will now exclusively partner with OZZ Group Inc., an established player in the Toronto (ON), Vancouver (BC), and Seattle (WA) markets.

Recognizing the urgent need for an energy transition, Steven Muzzo, the Chief Executive Officer of OZZ Group Inc. and Executive Chairman of the Board of Enlightened Building Technologies Inc., emphasized the significance of rethinking the entire energy ecosystem to combat climate change.

He stated, “Energy transition has become one of the world’s greatest collective challenges. As an industry, we must re-evaluate our approach and seize the opportunities it presents. We have launched Enlightened Clean Energy (ECE) with the sole purpose of addressing these opportunities.”

Leading the management of Enlightened Clean Energy is Chris Buligan, a seasoned professional with 12 years of experience in executing renewable energy projects.

Operating under the umbrella of Enlightened Building Technologies Inc., ECE aims to provide renewable energy solutions, energy storage, EV charging technology, and infrastructure services to the North American and Caribbean markets.
