GEORGE TOWN, Cayman Islands and XINYU CITY, China and SUNNYVALE, Calif., April 8, 2015 —

LDK Solar, in provisional liquidation and its Joint Provisional Liquidators, Tammy Fu and Eleanor Fisher, both of Zolfo Cooper (Cayman) Limited, announced that on April 7, 2015 the Grand Court of the Cayman Islands ordered that, effective on April 21, 2015, the JPLs will be discharged from their duties and the winding up petition presented by the Company on February 21, 2014 will be dismissed.

By this order the provisional liquidation of the Company will be brought to a successful conclusion on April 21, 2015. Ms. Fu and Ms. Fisher remain in office in their capacity as the supervisors of LDK Solar’s schemes of arrangement, which became effective on December 10, 2014.
