IESO Announces Re-Opening of microFIT Program

IESO re-opens the program after is was suspended due to irregularities within the application process, alleging that Applicants didn’t follow the rules.

This afternoon the Ontario Independent Electricity System Operator (IESO) announced that it will re-open the microFIT Program, including the posting of all final documents, on Tuesday June 21, 2016.

The program re-opens after being suspended due to irregularities within the application process that suggest Applicants and third-party representatives were not following proper procedure when making legal declarations.

CanSIA is pleased to see the program re-open earlier than originally anticipated and looks forward to our members making good use of the the summer sales season.

CanSIA announced that the organisation will provide additional information and notices for its members upon release of the final microFIT 4.0 materials.
