BETHEL, Conn. | SOLAR DATA SYSTEMS —
Solar Data Systems, Inc, maker of Solar-Log 350, 360, 370 & GE Meters, has qualified as a Performance Meter Provider (PMP) for Connecticut’s Residential Solar Investment Program (RSIP) through Connecticut Green Bank.

The announcement comes after Green Bank’s extensive review of the Solar-Log® & GE Meter’s accuracy, compatibility with Green Bank’s Platform, and in accordance with the strict guidelines set-up through the RSIP.

The Connecticut Green Bank provides incentives to offset the cost of homeowner investment, making solar power an affordable choice for CT homeowners.

As a local, qualified PMP, Solar-Log® will provide solar photovoltaic monitoring services for ratepayers who are participating in the RSIP. The data collected from the meter will be reported to Green Bank’s platform to determine the gross energy generated. The Solar-Log® & GE Meter is an ANSI certified, U.S. manufactured, revenue grade meter with better than 0.2% accuracy.

“We are looking forward to further contributing to the solar PV market in Connecticut by working with Connecticut Green Bank and the Residential Solar Investment Program,” says Anton Kaeslin, President of Solar Data Systems, Inc., “Customers like to monitor their PV plant performance with our new Solar-Log® & GE Meter product family because it is easy to install and cost effective.”

Solar Data Systems, Inc. is headquartered in Bethel, CT and has installed a number of Solar-Log® & GE Meters in most major solar PV markets in the U.S. The Solar-Log® & GE Meters are simple plug and play units which require very little time for on-site installation and are very easy to use. Solar-Log® has a well-trained technical support team in Bethel to help both installers and PV plant owners with installation and troubleshooting the meters. Solar-Log® & GE Meter and its cellular connectivity have proven a convenient solution for monitoring today’s U.S. residential solar PV plants. The product includes both a cellular data plan and subscription for the online Solar-Log WEB monitoring portal for 5 years.

Distributors, installers, plant owners, and solar leasing companies across the nation have purchased the Solar-Log® & GE Meters. The entire product family including the Solar-Log 350, 360, and 370 will be on display July 14-16th at Intersolar North America 2015 at Moscone Center, San Francisco.
