Toronto, ON. | December 8th, 2014 — EDF Renewable Services, the leading provider of O&M Services in North America, signed contracts for 454 MW of wind and 134 MWp of solar in 2014 adding to the company’s Canadian portfolio.

These additions represent a 52% increase in contracted projects in the Canadian market through 27 individual projects in Quebec and Ontario, signifying the company’s commitment to the Canadian renewable energy economy.

EDF Renewable Services operates over 8.5 gigawatts of wind, solar and biomass projects throughout the US, Canada, and Mexico, employing 500 in positions ranging from on-site technicians to control center operators, data analysts and performance engineering. With enhanced service offerings with strategic partnerships including Romax and GPM, EDF RS brings auxiliary engineering and all-in solar SCADA solutions to customers.

EDF Renewable Services is also pleased to highlight 28 project sites that each have reached 1000+ days without a recordable OSHA incident, a testament to the company’s core values of safety and good sense in operations.
