RICHMOND, Va. and SAN JOSE, Calif. | Dominion & SunPower —
Dominion Retail and SunPower announced a collaboration of the two companies to offer high-performance SunPower® solar power systems to New Jersey homeowners. Dominion Energy Solutions will provide program details to residents through a marketing campaign scheduled to begin this summer.

“New Jersey is one of the fastest growing solar markets in the U.S. To serve that demand, we’re pleased to offer high-efficiency SunPower solar power systems to qualified homeowners in the state,” said Mary Doswell, senior vice president of Dominion Energy Solutions. “With financing options including lease, loan or cash purchase, this program makes it easy for homeowners to go solar, maximizing electricity cost savings while reducing the family’s carbon footprint.”

Prior to designing and installing a SunPower solar power system, SunPower dealers will work with homeowners to determine the best financing options. Homeowners may choose to own the systems, or consider solar leases that require no upfront investment. Owning solar power systems may allow customers to take advantage of federal and state incentives and may increase property value.

“We are pleased to work with Dominion to make solar power more accessible to New Jersey homeowners,” said Howard Wenger, SunPower president, business units. “SunPower offers industry-leading solar technology that generates 70 percent more energy than conventional panels over the first 25 years, as well as superior reliability and aesthetics. Dominion’s customer-centric business model and SunPower’s 30 years of experience delivering high performance solar solutions is a powerful combination.”
